More than 50 players took a step back in time on 18th May by donning their vintage white clothes, digging out their old wooden rackets and hitting the courts for an afternoon of tennis as it used to be.

The event, organised by coach Paul Evans, was a huge success with players creating classic vintage outfits which ranged from long white dresses and straw hats to famous figures from the past.

Players of all ages from 8 to 80 took part in the event for members and non-members which raised more than £200 for the club's funds.

Club Chairman, Paul Martin, said: "This was a fantastic event. The weather was perfect and I was delighted to see so many people taking part."

"The club prides itself on getting people out on court and having fun and this event was a great example of the club's spirit."
