Buriton Village Hall

The present Buriton Village Hall was opened in 1997 and has been serving the village and the wider community since then.

The Main Hall is 17 metres by 8 metres and can accommodate up to 200 people (fire limit).

The upper hall or stage is 6 metres by 8 metres and can be used as a stage or an extension to the main hall with the screen open. Alternatively it can be used as a separate small hall for a maximum of 50 people.

The Hall is used regularly by:

  • Buriton Primary School
  • Buriton Nursery School
  • Buriton Toddler Group
  • Short-mat Bowls Club
  • Judo and Martial Arts Club
  • Dog Training
  • Aero Modelling Group
  • Buriton Players

It is also the main facility for village functions and events such as the Village Show (August), Fireworks (November), Heritage Bank Exhibition (September) as well as for films, lectures, music events, flower arranging, cricket teas, dancing classes, etc. For further information, including a booking form, please visit: www.buritonvillagehall.co.uk.

 

Please be aware that parking space is limited (c 25 spaces).  In addition to visitors to the village hall, these parking spaces are used by sports clubs using the recreation ground and the tennis courts, as well as local residents.
