The Parish Council Chairman summarised his “eventful first year” at the Annual Parish Meeting on 26th March.
Almost exactly 70 people squeezed into the village hall on 21st March and were enthralled by Robert Mocatta’s detailed research into what Buriton was like almost 200 years ago.
There was a good turn-out of villagers on 17th February to join Buriton’s popular Chalk Pits Ranger, Joe Williams, for a short conservation task morning.
Buriton’s ‘Village-to-Village’ charity has received a wonderful letter of thanks from the Ghana Education Service.
Towards the end of February, the South Downs National Park Authority installed the very first of a new design of South Downs Way fingerposts above the village.
