The popular Downland Singers will present their Summer Concert "Songs for the Seasons" in Buriton on Saturday 4th July at 7.30pm.

The singers have provided special concerts in Buriton in 2011 and 2013 and are delighted to be returning to the village to raise money for good causes again.

For this next concert Downland's theme of the seasons provides plenty of variety for all tastes - from the classical to the light-hearted and includes songs from several shows.

Solos, ensembles and chorus items take you through the year on a journey of the weather (e.g. Here Comes the Sun), the natural world (e.g. The Autumn Leaves) and, of course, romance (e.g. Seasons of Love).

This concert at St Mary's Church, Buriton is in aid of the community's 'Village-to-Village' charity link with Dominase in Ghana and the upkeep of Buriton's beautiful church.

Admission will be free of charge and donations after the concert will be for these two deserving charities.

So, you don't need a ticket. Just come and enjoy a wide cross section of music from some very talented singers. It will be fun.
