Buriton's Got Talent

Britain's Got Talent may be back on the telly but in Buriton all eyes will be focused on village performers.

Villagers and their friends are parading their secret skills at a Buriton’s Got Talent show in the parish church on Saturday, April 25.

The event is jointly organised by St Mary’s Church, Buriton, and Buriton Village to Village group which supports sanitation and education projects in the village’s sister community Dominase in Ghana.

Everyone taking part is doing it for fun, and for the enjoyment of all those who come along.

First half acts include bagpipe music, a piano recital, poetry reading, a flower arranging demonstration and singing.

After a short interval with drinks available there is more poetry and music, the ‘weather with a difference’, songs, a flautist and a rousing finale.

The show is at St Mary’s Church, Buriton, on Saturday, April 25 at 7.30pm. Admission is free but there will be a retiring collection in aid of Dominase.
