Antiques in your attic? An entertaining talk by TV Auctioneer Jonathan Pratt

A talk about Jonathan's experiences as an auctioneer and his TV work, followed by an opportunity to get comments on antiques brought along by the audience

Inspired by the BBC's 'Lovejoy' programme, Jonathan Pratt went on to study antiques and train in a saleroom in Edinburgh before joining the BBC's 'Bargain Hunt' team in 2008.

Living nearby and working in West Sussex as Managing Director of Bellmans, Jonathan has kindly offered to give this talk in Buriton as a special fund-raising event for good causes in Dominsae, Ghana, which are close to his heart.

As an expert on 'Bargain Hunt' and 'Antiques Road Trip', Jonathan has travelled around the UK in search of antique deals to make a profitable return at auction: battles of brains, buying and banter - and an evening in Buriton's village hall is not to be missed.

Admission will be £5 per person (pay at the door) and there will be an interval with a bar available.

After his talk he will comment on antique items which people bring with them: as many as time will permit for a donation of £2 each.
