The Parish Council is in discussions with South East Water about problems with water pressure in parts of the parish and you may be able to help.

The graves of four First World War servicemen, buried in St Mary's churchyard, were honoured as part of the community's annual 'Bygone Buriton' exhibition in September.

While travelling in traffic between Buriton and Portsmouth, or northwards towards Guildford, have you ever thought that you are following one of the most important routes in British history?

The latest instalment of this community project reveals the roles played by Buriton men during the Battle of the Somme as well as describing what life was like at home in the parish in the months of July, August and September 1916.

The Parish Council owns the land to the rear of the war memorial and would like parishioners to design something to give thanks to all those who have helped the country in times of conflict, not just in the armed forces but also helping the war effort at home in various important ways.
