Sunshine lights up memorable event in Manor Barn

Applause rang out long and loud for the multi-talented 'Instant Sunshine' after their performance in the Manor Barn in late October.

In a virtuoso performance of well over an hour the three talented musicians led the audience on a humorous tour of many facets of the British way of life – from horse-riders losing their horses to tales of a doctor’s surgery via the legacy of the 2012 Olympic Games and a (very) delayed train to Waterloo.

Instant Sunshine in the Manor barn

Possibly one of the last chances to enjoy one of Buriton Events' evenings of fun in the Manor Barn - and a bit of a coup for the village with the visit of stars of radio, TV and the Edinburgh Fringe, "Instant Sunshine".

Tickets will go quickly for this amusing and entertaining evening.

Variously described as the cutting edge of comic song or the evening wear window at Moss Bros, Instant Sunshine is three dinner-jacketed men of a certain age, singing their own original humorous songs, gently mocking the British way of life.

Latest barn dance just a blur

Over 100 people packed into the Manor Barn in November for another great night to raise money for local good causes.

Buriton Events’ latest shindig went with a real swing – thanks to the masterful music and coherent calling from regulars the Rampagers.

Profits from the evening are going to help fund the village’s celebrations to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
