Visitors flock to see lambs

Scores of families visited Nursted Farm in the first of this year's lambing weekends - the farm will be open again on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April from 2pm to 4.30pm

An afternoon out for all the family with a rare opportunity to see aspects of farming life.

Nursted Farm lies between Buriton and Petersfield and is a genuine working sheep farm - postcode GU31 5RW.

It opens its doors to the public around Easter each year to give people the opportunity to see ewes and lambs – and maybe even a lamb being born (not guaranteed!)

Farm Walk at Weston Farm

A guided walk around the fields and footpaths at Weston Farm - an opportunity to see and learn more about one of our local farms. Part of the 'Down on Buriton's farms' programme of farm events, open days, walks and talks during 2011.

Let Oliver Howe lead you along some new footpaths and through some parts of the farm not normally open to the public.

The walk will begin at 1.30pm from the main farm buildings along Weston Lane.  Car parking will be available.
