The Post Office is open every Friday (1.30 - 3.30pm**) in the Seward Room next to St. Mary's church. You do not have to queue (well, you do very occasionally but even that is enjoyable) and you are treated to a cup of coffee or tea and some healthy gossip.
The Post Office provides a full range of sevices: posting things, obviously; car tax; foreign currency; etc.. On occasion, local and other produce is available also: olive oil, tea towels, and pork chops, sausages, etc.. If you have anything you would like to sell, why not give it a try?
** except when there is a service in the church, which is a rare event at this time of the week.
Please note that the Post Office will not be open on Friday 29th July 2011 as there is a wedding.
