Welcome to Buriton

A highlight of the community's 'Down on our Farms' programme this year was Susan Shone's big Farm Open Day.

The weather was kind to Buriton. Whilst rain was falling all around, everything took place as planned enabling a host of happy memories from a thoroughly enjoyable day.

An excellent series of 'Films in Buriton' has been arranged for autumn 2012 with a series of recently acclaimed films:

Anna Karenina is a classic drama: Joe Wright directs the classic Tolstoy story of marital infidelity in an adaptation by Tom Stoppard.

A comedy-drama featuring a stuffy government scientist, Fred, who is asked by a fishing-obsessed Arab Sheik to do the seemingly impossible - introduce British salmon to the Wadis of the Yemen.
