The Village Inn will be taking part in the worlds biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday 29th September: 10.45 to 12.45.

The police are reporting increases in burglaries from sheds and garages, as well as increases in identity fraud. They are providing advice about what to do to reduce problems.

A Roman Legion, Darth Vader, a Jazz Band, Fancy Dress races and information about Buriton’s wonderful Dark Night Skies were amongst the star attractions at the 2017 Village Show.

With food shortages at home and the start of the Battle of Passchendaele across the channel, this was a difficult time for many Buriton families.
