At the autumn meeting of the Buriton Village Association, Richard Palmer will give an insight into his work - and a 'behind the scenes' look at many of the Royal events taking place during 2012.
Your chance to drop a clanger
300 years ago - on this very day - the steeple on Buriton Church was struck by lightening and burnt down. Our team of bell-ringers will be ringing the bells to mark this anniversary. They will also be giving demonstrations and providing parishioners with an opportunity to have a go.

Children, parents, helpers and friends of Buriton Nursery School took part in a 'Sponsored Toddle' on Friday 24th February on the Village Recreation Ground - and raised over ?200 !
Photos and stories are coming in for the Buriton Book of 2012
As a unique souvenir of Jubilee Year, a special full-colour hardback book is being produced to record activities in the parish during the year. A free copy of the book will be available for every household - early in 2013. But - your help is needed.
