An Ealing-style comedy with a great array of British talent including Bernard Hill, Simon Callow, Virginia McKenna, Una Stubbs and Phil Davies.
Furious with the bank for frittering away his pension, when his wife (Virginia McKenna) needs expensive medical treatment and the local bowls club is threatened with closure, Hill becomes a regular Robin Hood, robbing banks with his gang of cronies!
Films are shown in the Village Hall at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm). Refreshments are available before very show.
There is an interval during which ice creams are available.
Tickets cost £5 each - having the exact money is very helpful.
