Thanks to all the volunteers who helped
Thanks to all the volunteers who helped on Saturday 10 February, bags and bags of litter and rubbish were collected so that our lanes and hedgerows now look tidy again.
As usual, some strange items were found in some strange places but, sadly, the numbers of discarded tin cans, plastic and glass bottles, fast food wrappers, crisp packets and other litter were making the parish look very untidy
Yet again, the unknown Stella Artois drinker made the most work for the volunteers – seemingly throwing away 2 cans almost every day, including along Greenway Lane, Kiln Lane, New Barn Lane and other places
Thank you to everyone who took part - and thanks also to everyone who helps to discourage other people from throwing their litter away around the parish.
