Members of Buriton Tennis Club played about 600 games of tennis in their annual 'Davis Cup' weekend (July 9th - 10th) - with 'Team Ghana' emerging as winners.
Over 30 players took part in the two-day event, supported by families and friends.
Some serious tennis was played in an atmosphere of fun - with flags and chanting encouraging the four competing countries.
Ghana emerged as narrow winners from the United States, France and Turkey.
Lovely weather helped produce a very sociable weekend with barbecue lunches available on both days.
Lucy Cousins, Captain of Team Ghana, organised a small raffle to raise money for Buriton's link with the village of Dominase and, as well as taking the Cup home, she was able to donate £120 to this good cause.
