Welcome to Buriton

Children, parents, helpers and friends of Buriton Nursery School took part in a 'Sponsored Toddle' on Friday 24th February on the Village Recreation Ground - and raised over ?200 !

As a unique souvenir of Jubilee Year, a special full-colour hardback book is being produced to record activities in the parish during the year. A free copy of the book will be available for every household - early in 2013. But - your help is needed.

That was the view of many of the people collecting their supplies of meat from Susan Shone at Bolinge Hill Farm in January.

East Hampshire District Council and Hampshire County Council have joined forces with other councils across the county to help householders install loft and cavity-wall insulation to high standards. Anyone registering before 31st March 2012 is likely to get work done free of charge - thereafter there will be some charges but they are likely to represent very good value.
