Parish Plan

A unique Christmas present

A few copies of this remarkable book are available - and make great Christmas presents for anyone connected to Buriton: children, family and friends.

The book charts a year in the life of the parish and is lavishly illustrated with more than 850 photographs.

What were sheep doing in the High Street? Why was a Hollywood superstar in Nursted? Why did a helicopter land on the Recreation Ground?

The launch of the BURITON book

Photos and stories are coming in for the Buriton Book of 2012

As a unique souvenir of Jubilee Year, a special full-colour hardback book is being produced to record activities in the parish during the year. A free copy of the book will be available for every household - early in 2013. But - your help is needed.

The organisers of the project want to make sure that all aspects of life in the parish are included – not just special events – so that the book provides a good record of ‘a year in the life of Buriton’.
