Some of the community activities that have taken place in the parish in recent years are featured in the South Downs National Park's latest newspaper.
A whole page of the July-December 2013 edition is devoted to some of the outcomes from the Buriton Parish Plan - including an interview with Susan Shone and a photograph of Aubrey and Rhoda Bicknell.
The feature highlights the community's ?Down on Buriton's Farms? initiative and the opportunities that villagers have to buy fresh beef, pork and lamb directly from local farms.
The article also refers to Buriton's big book of 2012, to the Coulters Dean and Chalk Pits Nature Reserves, to the weekly Post Office and occasional markets in the church, Buriton Players, the village school and the community's links with Dominase in Ghana.
Copies of the newspaper are widely available in Petersfield, at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park and across the National Park.
